What age is the Banwood Classic 14 inch bike for?

The Classic 14 inch is designed for children aged roughly 4 to 6 — the smallest pedal bike in the Banwood range and the natural next step after the First Go balance bike.

How do I know the bike fits my child?

Use inside-leg measurement rather than age. Your child should sit on the saddle and reach the ground comfortably, and stand over the frame with clearance.

When should a child move from a balance bike to a pedal bike?

Usually between ages 3 and 5, once they can glide long distances with their feet off the ground and steer without wobbling. Most go straight to pedals without stabilisers.

What comes after the 14 inch?

The Classic 16 inch for ages roughly 4 to 7, then the 20 inch for ages 6 to 10 — the same vintage design in growing sizes.
