2. Who can enter
The contest is open to residents aged 18 and over in the United States, United Kingdom and European Union. Entries featuring children must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian with permission to share the image. Banwood employees, judges and their immediate families cannot enter. Void where prohibited.
3. Contest dates
The contest opens on October 15, 2026, and closes on November 2, 2026, at 7:00 PM Central European Time (CET). Only entries posted during this period count.
4. How to enter
Post an original Halloween costume photo or video featuring a Banwood product on a public Instagram account. Tag @banwoodbikes and include #BanwoodHalloween2026 in the caption. Instagram is the only entry platform. No entry fee is charged.
5. Entry rules
Entries must be original, family-friendly and safe. The entrant must have permission from everyone shown, or their parent or guardian. Do not show unsafe use of bikes or scooters. Banwood may exclude entries that break these rules. Professional photography, expensive styling and follower count do not give an advantage.
6. Prize
One winner will receive one Banwood gift voucher, with the value based on the winner’s country of residence: €500 for an EU winner, £500 for a UK winner, or $500 USD for a US winner. These are fixed amounts in each currency, not currency conversions. The voucher is for use at banwood.com. There is no cash alternative.
7. How the winner is chosen
After the deadline, Banwood will select five eligible finalists. Frida, representing Banwood, and one independent judge will assess the finalists and choose one winner. They will judge creativity, originality and the overall costume idea, including how the Banwood product is featured. Photo quality and social media popularity are not judging criteria. The independent judge must be impartial and have no conflict of interest. The decision will be documented.
8. Winner contact
Banwood expects to contact the selected winner by Instagram direct message from @banwoodbikes on or around 5–6 November 2026. The winner must reply within seven days and provide the details reasonably needed to confirm eligibility and send the voucher. If the winner cannot be confirmed, the judges may select another eligible finalist. The public announcement will follow confirmation.
9. Photos and sharing
Entrants keep ownership of their photos and videos. Entering allows Banwood to view and judge the entry and contact the entrant. Banwood will ask for separate permission before reposting an entry or using it in future marketing, especially where children appear.
10. Personal data
Banwood will use entry details only to administer the contest, select and contact the winner and deliver the prize, in line with its privacy notice and applicable privacy laws.
11. Instagram disclaimer
This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram. Entrants release Instagram from responsibility for the promotion to the extent allowed by law.
12. General
Banwood may reject fraudulent or ineligible entries. Any change to these rules will be handled fairly and in line with applicable law. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be excluded. Applicable local laws continue to apply.
